Barangay Poblacion Officials' Clean-Up Drive at RNIT Facade

On January 7, 2025, the Barangay Officials of Poblacion, Alcantara, Romblon, conducted a clean-up drive targeting the facade and entrance of the Romblon National Institute of Technology (RNIT). The activity focused on clearing the roadside and areas surrounding the main gate to ensure a tidy environment for students, employees, and passersby.

During the drive, officials concentrated on trimming overgrown grass and weeds along the perimeter fence. Using grass cutters and manual tools, they cleared vegetation and gathered debris into sacks for disposal.

The team also swept the vicinity to remove leaves and litter, significantly improving the maintenance of the institute’s frontage.

The Barangay Officials remain dedicated to these regular efforts, ensuring Alcantara continues to be a source of pride for the province through sustained cleanliness and proactive stewardship.
